Hello there! My name is Whitney and I'm a third time mommy, well I will be in approximately three weeks. With my first two kids I never considered cloth diapering, I was a young busy mommy stuck in the mainstream way of most things. I have decided to cloth diaper my third child after much education and waking up to life, but I'm a little unprepared. I don't know what the best options are, I don't have nearly enough diapers to welcome my son some time in the next three weeks, and I don't know where to stock up at an affordable rate is. I'm hoping to find some advice from some of the veterans here and appreciate that Tami started this group nine years ago. Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful summer and staying nice and hydrated! And thanks in advance for the advice. ;D

Congrats Whitney! I've been CD'ing for about 4 months now with my first daughter and I have to say it is SO much easier than I expected. I spend about $175 on my entire stash getting $50 worth of prefolds in various sizes and spent another $100 on Boise Cloth Diapers website....they deliver free in Boise and Meridian, and then got a few cute covers on etsy. My favorite covers by far are the one size covers by rumarooz. I also bought a few all in ones which are super easy to change but I found to be more difficult to clean and take twice as long to dry. I would suggest trying a few different kinds of diapers and keeping an open mind. Best of luck! BTW I have two little joey's that we have outgrown that I would sell you if you are interested. Eco owl and peacock...here's what they look like. www.nickisdiapers.com/lil-joey-all-in-one-diaper-2pack.html Message me if you are interested.
