I meant to post a hello a couple weeks ago but I had a three week class at BSU that was pretty intense. Now that's over (whew) and the rest of my summer shouldn't be too insane.
I'm fairly new to cloth diapering. I just had my third child five months ago, but he is the first one I have attempted to cloth diaper. We started with gro baby diapers, which we LOVED. Except for one thing, my 7 1/2 pound newborn became a 20 pound (just turned) five month old who fits 12 month old clothes length wise. So... gro babies aren't going to fit for much longer, plus he is starting to leak in them really bad. We have tried many other diapers and have finally settled on a combination of Thirsties fab fitted and some Icandy diapers. I also have taken to baby wearing with this little one. We have gypsy mam wraps right now, and I like them, but I am really interested in trying a Mei Tai. I just need to find someone who sells Mei Tais in the area so I can actually try them with my chunky little guy.
As for the rest of my family. I am married to a wonderful man and have a five month old son, a 12 year old daughter and a 10 year old daughter (in two weeks, she gets mad at me for calling her ten yet). I grew up in Boise but recently lived in MN for a couple years so I don't really know anyone in the area any more, I would love to get to know some people.
I am finally graduating BSU, after eight years of college, this summer. YAY!. Everyone keeps asking me what job I am going to do with my degree and honestly I just want to be a stay at home mom for a bit and home school my children. (we plan on one or two more little ones in the next couples years). I do have to admit that I don't like to tell people this because people seem to look down on stay at home moms. For me it's something I honestly really want to do.
Other then that we have dogs, cats, and ferrets, so it's a full house. Thanks for letting me join!
